I added about 30% toward my next level in the last 24 hours or so. I fully understand that you get them on the rez shrine and just continue to hack at the same target in between rezzes. The manner in which this is done for the length of time that it requires is exactly bullshit. A better way should have been established from the start and has been called for since nearly day one.

Holy crap people, ANet didn't add the title out of laziness; there was a period where they did, in fact, close death leveling. But people complained, and they put it back in, with a title to recognize the people who came up with the idea of getting to 20 in pre in the first place. Disagree with it if you want to, but it's not going anywhere; it was removed and purposefully reinstated. Deal with it.

I agree with the above poster.

For some really odd/dumb reason people from some small core group decided to get to level 20 before there was even a title, and then others wanted to get to level 20 as well so Anet added a title for it.

Ok, this started off as a rant and has only become worse. If you wish to report a bug, this is not the place. However, it appears to not be a bug at all - simply a misunderstanding on the OP's part. Closed.
